  • We provide infant formula or the parent is welcome to provide their own formula or breast milk.  Parents provide baby food, bibs, diapers and wipes.
  • We encourage your child’s development with “tummy time” and helping children learn to walk, a state requirement before children are promoted to the toddler room.

“There was nothing harder than having to go back to work after having my son.  What
a relief it is to have a safe place to leave my infant while I work.  Creative Kids has
loving attentive teachers who keep me informed of every aspect of my son’s day.”

 Our Toddler Program:

  • Toddler room is licensed for 11 children with 2 teachers.
  • Multi-experiential curriculum emphasizes learning through play with a variety of activities: art, music, movement, educational toys, pretend play, sensory play such as sand and water play, and finger-painting.
  • Toddlers have their own fun, shaded playground and get 2-3 outside play-times daily.
  • There are weekly themes about topics that are relevant and interesting to toddlers.
  • Our goal is to nurture your child while encouraging language development, fine motor, gross motor, self-help, and social skills.
  • Concepts such as colors, shapes, ABC’s, counting, and opposites are taught.

  • At 2 years of age we begin to work on toilet training with the parent’s support.  Many of our children are completely toilet trained by age 2 and may be able to move up to our 3’s class depending on their developmental readiness and space availability.
  • We encourage children to take turns with toys and learn valuable social skills.  We primarily use re-direction and provide many interesting choices to encourage learning.
  • Communication to parents is provided by messages on the white board and communication sheets that are sent home daily; toddler schedule is posted in the classroom.

“Consistency of permanent staff has enabled Dominique to learn, enjoy and be
proud of his accomplishments.  Your staff has provided a nurturing, loving, enriching
atmosphere in which Dominique has continued to thrive and learn.  Needless to say,
Creative Kids has given our family new insight into the importance of his preschool
education through your innovative program.”  Jessica  Parras and Jeremy Vidal
